Since 1851, MassMutual has been building a reputation of financial strength and integrity. Throughout their 168 years of history, MassMutual has adhered to a simple yet powerful operating principle: To help people secure their future and protect the ones they love. This principle continues to guide their actions, both inside the company as well as out in the community.
MassMutual Greater Hudson President and CEO, Derek Chan states: “Our firm is committed to turning your dreams of financial success into reality. With offices throughout the Greater New York and New Jersey area, along with our team of experienced financial professionals, we are ready to provide comprehensive solutions to any of your financial endeavors. As we unveil our newly renovated office located in the heart of Edison township, New Jersey, we hope to further invest not only in our business and employees, but also to give back to this community. We strongly believe that we are not only here to run a business, but to also make a positive impact on the lives we touch and a difference in the communities we serve!”
In aligning their actions with their values, MassMutual Greater Hudson has established Scholarship Awards to benefit high school graduates pursuing their college dream. Collectively with their four offices in Chinatown, Flushing, Brooklyn and Edison, they have provided $750,000 worth of free life insurance through the MassMutual LifeBridge Program¹ to eligible families. Furthermore, MassMutual Greater Hudson also partners with organizations such as EasterSeals New Jersey to promote awareness and assist with financial planning of Special Needs families within their community.
Aside from working with the mainstream market, their Edison firm provides a unique focus on the Multicultural population in the New Jersey and New York area. They emphasize on servicing the financial needs of the fastest growing, yet often under-served Chinese-American and Asian-Indian American families with financial professionals that speak their native languages. This creates better communication and understanding through shared cultural backgrounds.
Managing Director heading the Edison Office of MassMutual Greater Hudson, Brian Finn comments: “Diversity and inclusion fuel our business growth and helps us achieve our purpose – to help people secure their future and protect the ones they love. Increasing the diversity of our sales force and workforce is a priority because we believe that if we reflect our customer’s backgrounds, thoughts, values and beliefs, we will be better able to understand and serve their needs. As our office expands, we are constantly looking for driven and motivated individuals to join our team!
